Young phenom Taua Puloka paving the way for Bishop Manogue’s shot at 4A state title

Accolades: Named first-team all-region as a freshman; helped team win 4A North regional title and qualification for state tournament

Story in short:Only 16, Puloka is being recruited by Division I schools and continues to tear up the 4A North. Only a sophomore, Puloka is averaging nearly 13 points per game with five rebounds and four assists. Over the summer, the point guard traveled to the Solomon Islands to play for the Kingdom of Tonga National Team. She helped the team to its first national win with 23 points.
